Carson was diagnosed with a double ear infection last week and was prescribed Amoxycillin. He seemed to be doing better but on Thursday (day 7 of the medicine) he started getting a rash. Ronda and I thought that at first it looked like little bug bites all over him, but as the day went on it got worse and worse. The nurse finally called me back on Thursday afternoon and told us to stop the amoxycillin and bring him in on Friday afternoon. In case anyone needs to know, this is what an allergic reaction to pinicillin looks like (hives galore!)...
The rash is almost completely gone now, but it sure did make us nervous for a couple days. Parenthood is not for the weak!

i spoke to aunt susi and found out it was chase that had the bad reaction when he was a baby. she had horror stories to tell about it!!!glad to see the little fella doing better.!!! love gigi
